Walking with Moms in Need

Walking With Moms in Need from Archdiocese of Atlanta on Vimeo.

Walking with Moms in Need is an initiative by the USCCB to connect parishes to pregnant women in need in their communities. PAC’s commitment to promote the sanctity of human life supports this mission in a variety of ways, and by supporting PAC, allows you to aid those in need in your community.
Ready to bring Walking With Moms to your parish?
There are multiple ways you can help support PAC and pregnant women in crisis in your community. You can organize a baby shower at your parish for a local mom in need, and we will provide you with 20 boutique bucks at our Baby Boutique to support the mother. Our Baby Boutique is filled with new and gently used items to aid women during and after pregnancy.

It's also easy to host a baby bottle drive, donate to our mission, join us in prayer, or simply provide your parish with ease of access to PAC through social media and your bulletin. We are a place you can turn if you are experiencing an unexpected pregnancy or know someone who is.

How do we walk with moms in need?

Baby Boutique
Our Baby Boutique is filled by the generous support of local parishes and donors, and provides clothing and baby items to our clients and surrounding community. It is easy for a parish to organize a baby shower to support pregnant women. We are committed to offering the equivalent of 20 boutique bucks for parish groups that participate in baby showers.

Education
We offer free online parenting and life skills classes that are immediately accessible to any women or families in need. These include parenting, life skills, fertility and mini classes.

Resources
All three of our locations have medical staff trained to provide our clients with free pregnancy testing, STI testing and treatment, and ultrasounds. These services empower women to make informed choices about their health and family.

REACH Program
We are committed to serving families in need of immediate assistance through our REACH Program. Our R.E.A.C.H. program (Resource Education and Community Helping Hands) allows for 1:1 time with a client advocate who can help you find the tools and resources needed to remove obstacles to the positive momentum you’ve worked so hard to achieve.

Prayer
We begin every day of work with prayer for our clients, donors, and the respect of all human life across the globe. Join us in praying for pregnant mothers as a prayer warrior.

Please contact Bayh Mraz with any questions you might have about Walking with Moms in Need.  You can reach Bayh at the PAC offices at 404-763-4357 or her direct number at 615-545-9055.

PRAYER FOR PREGNANT MOTHERS

O Blessed Mother, you received the good news of the incarnation of Christ, your Son, with faith and trust. Grant your protection to all pregnant mothers facing difficulties.

Guide us as we strive to make our parish communities places of welcome and assistance for mothers in need. Help us become instruments of God’s love and compassion.

Mary, Mother of the Church, graciously help us build a culture of life and a civilization of love, together with all people of good will, to the praise and glory of God, the Creator and lover of life. Amen.
